Cooling system:
The diesel engine cooling system includes a radiator, an efficient push fan, a mechanically driven water pump and a thermostat. Fan push type, it pushes air into the radiator. This device can cool the heat on the surface of the engine and the surface of the alternator, while the heat inside the engine is cooled by the water circulation in the heat dissipation. The air circulation in the generator room is very important to ensure the cooling of the machine.
Speed control of diesel engine:
The speed controller of the diesel engine can be stabilized by mechanical or electronic equipment to adapt to changes in load. Diesel speed is directly related to the output frequency of the alternator, so any change in diesel speed will affect the frequency of power output. The governor adjusts the speed of the diesel engine and controls the amount of fuel. When the load increases to the alternator, the governor will refuel the diesel engine. When the load is reduced, the governor reduces the fuel flow.
Fuel system:
The diesel fuel system of the small and medium power generator set can be directly equipped with a bottom oil tank on the base of the unit according to user needs. This oil tank has enough oil to supply the engine for 4-8 hours at full load. This base oil tank can be connected to a large oil tank for manual or white oil transfer. Please refer to section 49 for a complete description of the oil delivery system. In larger generator sets, there is no fuel tank in the base, so a split fuel tank must be placed nearby to deliver fuel to the diesel engine.
Exhaust system:
One of the functions of the smoke sweeping system is to reduce noise and discharge exhaust gas to a place that does not pose a hazard. In the smaller generators, the smoke exhaust muffler and pipes are directly mounted on the diesel engine: in the larger generators, the smoke exhaust muffler is provided separately for users to install according to location.
Starting assist method:
It is not recommended to use ether combustion to assist starting, which will reduce the working life of the engine.
