What Should I Do If The Generator Temperature Is Abnormal?

1. Phenomenon: The temperature of the generator winding or iron core is significantly higher than the normal value or exceeds the limit, and the temperature of the generator's bearings is significantly higher than the normal value or exceeds the limit.

2. Cooling system failure: insufficient cooling water pressure, insufficient cooling water volume, pipeline blockage, rupture or valve core falling off.

1) Determine whether it is a meter or measuring point failure: If yes, the gasoline generator will be notified for maintenance, and the failure measuring point will be exited, and the temperature of other measuring points will be closely monitored.

2) If the indicator or measuring point is correct and the temperature is rising sharply again, reduce the load to reduce the temperature to within the rated value, otherwise stop processing.

3) Check whether the three-phase current is balanced, whether the unbalanced current of the Perkins generator set exceeds the limit, if it exceeds the limit, it will be handled as the three-phase unbalanced current.

4) Check whether the three-phase voltage is balanced and whether the power factor is within the normal range. If it does not meet the requirements, adjust it to normal.

5) Determine whether it is caused by a cooling water failure. If the cooling water temperature rises, check and adjust the flow of the cooling water, and the pressure is within the normal range.
